• The number of collisions involving electric powered pedal bicycles (popularly known as e-bikes) for each calendar year from 2018 up to and including 2024. Also the number of casualties and fatalities that happened as a result of those collisions
• The number of collisions and casualties involving electric powered scooters (known as e-scooters) for each calendar year from 2018 up to and including 2024. Also the number of casualties and fatalities that happened as a result of those collisions
Northamptonshire Police systems are designed primarily for the management of individual cases and not for the production of statistical information for Freedom Of Information responses.
Searched Between January 2018 & Dec 2024 (Inclusive) for all occurrences with an occurrence Type Description of RTC.
Results searched to include only those where either:
Vehicle Description contains the keyword 'Go-Ped' or 'Electric' Vehicle Common Name contains the keywords 'VOI' or 'Scooter' Vehicle Make contains the keyword 'VOI'
Occurrence Summary contains the keywords 'Scooter' or 'VOI' Vehicle Registration Number contains the keywords 'Scooter' or 'VOI'. Results manually searched to remove those unrelated to E-scooters.
As with any keyword search, the search will only return exact matches. This does not account for differences in terminology and/or spelling used. Keyword searches are problematic and in no way provide accurate results or figures. If the selected key words have not been mentioned the data will not be returned.
