Original Request:
Would you please be good enough to advise the number of incidents recorded during the periods in question where damage has been occasioned to force vehicles during tactical stop incidents.
01/01/20 - 31/12/20
01/01/21 - 31/12/21
01/01/22 - 31/12/22
New Request:
You were kind enough to provide us with the information in relation to the number of incidents and we shall be pleased if you will confirm the number of recovery claims made by the force against the Motor Insurers Bureau and how many have now been paid.
Searches were conducted within Northamptonshire Police to locate the information and I can now confirm that there have been zero recovery claims made by the force against the Motor Insurers Bureau and therefore zero has been paid for each of the years.
Generally, if Northamptonshire Police pursue a claim, it will be from the motor insurer of the third party directly and given the nature of TPaC incidents it is not always possible to recover our losses.
