FOI 2870-25 Arrests for possession of class A drugs

Request:

Could you please supply me with figures for the following time periods:

- Between 1st January 2022 and December 31st 2022, how many people were arrested for possession of class A drugs at football matches in Northamptonshire?

- As a comparison, in the same period the following year (between 1st January 2023 and December 31st 2023), how many people were arrested for possession of class A drugs at football matches in Northamptonshire?

- How many people were arrested for possession of class A drugs at football matches in Northamptonshire last year (between January 1st 2024 and December 31st 2024)?

Response:

Northamptonshire Police systems are designed primarily for the management of individual cases and not for the production of statistical information for Freedom Of Information responses.

Crime searched for all occurrences where the MO Location Premises Sub Type is 'stadium' or the Occ. Add Full Details matches pattern 'sport, stadium, FC or football'. Custody searched for which of those occurrences resulted in an arrest for possession of Class A drugs

2022 = 3
2023 = 1
2024 = 0
