Question 1 - The systems your force uses to ensure compliance with the Authorised Professional Practice on Data Retention (ADR) requirements.
Question 2 - Confirmation on whether these systems fully address all ADR requirements, or whether certain requirements necessitate bespoke responses or solutions.
Question 1
Northamptonshire Police uses a system called Genie which is employed to review police records in line with Management of Police Information (MOPI) Guidelines and either retain or delete accordingly. Where possible, any standalone systems that are not managed by Genie have automated retention rules built in.
Question 2
Not all of our systems have an ADR capability, and where required bespoke manual review solutions are applied to ensure all ADR requirements are fully addressed.
