After conducting reasonable searches, I can confirm that Northamptonshire Police holds some of the information requested.
However, we are unable to supply you with this information as it is not held in an easily retrievable format. Our analysts would be required to manually review a minimum of 1,017 records, which at even a conservative 2 minutes per file, would significantly exceed the appropriate cost limit of £450. This means that an exemption is engaged under s12(1) of the Freedom of Information Action 2000 (the Act).
In accordance with Section 17(1) of the Act, this letter represents a Refusal Notice for this particular request.
Furthermore, the Force can only attribute a monetary street value to cannabis plants if this has been provided by an expert Witness during the judicial process. For this part of your request, no information is held.
Finally, Northamptonshire Police cannot provide information on convictions - please redirect this part of your enquiry to His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service.
s16 of the Act places a Duty on Northamptonshire Police to offer advice and assistance on how you could refine your request to align with the cost parameters. Please be advised we may be able to provide data on points one and two for a period of five years (subject to further exemptions).
If you decide to write an article or use the enclosed data, we would ask you to take into consideration the factors highlighted in this document so as to not mislead members of the public or official bodies or misrepresent the relevance of the whole or any part of this disclosed material.
