I am making a Freedom of Information (FOI) request as I would like to know how many reports of illegal parking did Northamptonshire Police receive in 2024 for the area under the responsibility of Pattishall Parish Council.
A boundary of the area covered by Pattishall Parish Council can be obtained from the council if required.
I would also like to know how many of the reports of illegal parking did the police manage to take enforcement action upon (i.e. fines, towing the vehicles away etc)
I would also like to know for the year to date (YTD) how many reports of incidents of illegal parking Northamptonshire Police has received for the area under the responsibility of Pattishall Parish Council.
In Northamptonshire parking enforcement is dealt with by the council unless the vehicle is parked on zig-zag lines, dangerously or in a way that would prevent emergency vehicles from accessing.

Parking issues and abandoned vehicles | Northamptonshire Police
Searches were conducted within Northamptonshire Police to locate the information by searching all reported incidents with a closing code of ‘VEHNUIS’, ‘VEHNUIS_E’, ‘ABANDONV’, ‘VEHNUIS_P’. This produced 4 results for 2024 and 2 up to the end of March 2025 . No enforcement action was taken by the police.
