How many bicycles (i.e. push bikes, including e-bikes) were seized by your police force in the years 2020-2024, broken down by year?
How many seized bicycles were recovered by a third party recovery specialist (i.e. a contracted firm responsible for recovering vehicles seized by the police) - figures requested are for 2020-2024, broken down by year?
What was the approximate financial value for the contract to recover bicycles in the years 2020-2024, broken down by year?
The ‘vehicle type’ for bikes was only added to our vehicle recovery system towards the end of 2023 so we are unable to provide data prior to this.

As above. Only an awarded contractor can recover vehicles/bikes.
Searches were conducted within Northamptonshire Police to locate the information and I can now confirm that Northamptonshire Police does not hold any information relative to your request. Northamptonshire Police do not have a contract specifically for bicycles, this is covered under our vehicle recovery contract.
