David Ross murder investigation: Operation Lane

David (Les) RossOperation Lane is the investigation into the murder of Corby businessman David ‘Les' Ross, whose body was found in a room at the Village Inn hotel in Corby on 17 December 2012.

A Crimestoppers reward of up to £5,000 has been offered for information leading to the successful arrest and prosecution of the person responsible for the murder of Mr Ross.

The body of 39-year-old Mr Ross was found by a member of hotel staff on the afternoon of Monday 17 December.

A post mortem confirmed that Mr Ross died from head injuries following an assault.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the murder of Mr Ross or about a burglary at Mr Ross's home address in Chelveston Drive , Corby , two days before his murder – Saturday 15 December.

We would also like to hear from anyone who spoke to Mr Ross or knew of his movements during the day and evening of Sunday 16 December.
