Robbery at Tesco Express in Daventry

Officers are appealing for information after a robbery took place this morning (Friday 22 June) at Tesco Express in Wimborne Place, Daventry at approximately 5.30am.

As they were opening the store, members of staff were approached by three masked men who forced entry into the rear office and stock room area. A significant amount of money and cigarettes were taken.

Anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area, such as a vehicle driving erratically out of Daventry, or people waiting outside of the store, is urged to contact police.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 - alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
