POLICE are advising residents and motorists to avoid an area of Daventry following a gas leak in the High March Industrial Estate, London Road area.
People should avoid the main road into Daventry – the A45 from Dodford, which is being closed off.
Evacuation is taking place in the immediate area as a precaution, and the Fire and Rescue Service and Transco have been called out.
There is no further information at this stage.
