Northampton: Robbery

POLICE officers are appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Northampton. The incident took place between 7.30pm and 8pm on Tuesday 8 May.

A 13-year-old boy and his friend were approached by two unknown boys at the junction of Blackthorn Road and Croftmeadow Court. One of the boys blocked the victim’s path and then punched him in the face. The second boy stole the victim’s bike – a white and red Maxima mountain bike. Both offenders then made off in the direction of Waingrove.

The first offender is described as mixed race, aged 15-16, about 5ft2 tall, of slim build with short black hair. He was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms and was riding a black bike.

The second offender is described as mixed race, aged around 10 and of skinny build. He was wearing a grey hooded top.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 - alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
