An unroadworthy motorbike was seized by two PCSOs on patrol in the dedicated anti-social behaviour car in the North Park area of Kettering last Saturday (21 April).

The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was causing a nuisance by riding his motorbike across North Park and the surrounding pavements in a manner which was dangerous to him and the public.

PCSO Barrie Dodd said: “When PCSO Kirsty Ellerby and I spotted the motorbike being driven in an anti-social manner, we acted quickly and appropriately to ensure it was seized.

“Local residents have since expressed to us how pleased they are to see local officers taking swift action to tackle an issue which is of concern to the local community.”
