Northampton: Serious assault at Jeckyll and Hyde public house

WE are appealing for information about a serious assault which took place within the Jeckyll & Hyde public house in Wellingborough Road, Northampton on Sunday night (8 April).

At some time between 10.30pm and 10.45pm, the victim was inside the public house with his brother who was punched by a man.

The victim's brother punched the man back which prompted another man to get involved, At this stage, the victim intervened in a bid to stop his brother being attacked by two men.

The victim managed to restrain one of the men assaulting his brother but was then glassed to the left side of his face.

There is no description for the man who carried out the glass assault.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 - alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
