CORBY Central Safer Community team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant this morning, at Wharfedale Road in the town.
Officers were acting on intelligence received from the local community.

They discovered that the entire 3-bedroom house had been cultivated with over 400 cannabis plants, in various stages of maturity.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man, believed to be in his twenties, on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis. He is being held at Corby police station and will be interviewed today.

PC Mark Walker, of Corby Central Safer Community Team, said:
"If you have a cannabis factory, we will find you.
"We will act always respond to any intelligence we receive, and will take robust action"

If you would like to go along to Wharfedale Road and take photographs, contact the on-call Media and Communications Officer via 03000 111 222.
