Lincolnshire man convicted for a distraction burglary in Northampton

A 29-year-old man from Lincoln has been convicted in connection with a series of distraction burglaries, one of which took place in Northampton.

Brian Heasman pleaded guilty to six burglaries at Lincoln Crown Court and was sentenced to four-and-a-half years imprisonment .

On 1 August, he gained entry to a disabled man’s home in Richmond Terrace, Northampton by pretending to be a window cleaner - while inside the house he stole the man’s wallet.
