Extradition approved for Anxiang Du

We can confirm that the extradition of Anxiang Du has been approved by the Moroccan Ministry of Justice in conjunction with the Home Office.

Mr Du was scheduled to arrive in the UK at 3.50pm today (Wednesday 20 February), on a flight from Casablanca to Heathrow Airport, in the custody of UK Border Agency officers.

The Metropolitan Police will then take custody of Mr Du. He is expected to arrive in Northampton tomorrow morning, and will appear at Northampton Magistrates' Court at 10.00am.

There are no further details at this stage.
